While attending high school in Marin County, Brittany Ween Newell organized a teen poetry event, which she hosted in Rebound Bookstore. Her debut novel Oola will appear in 2017, published by The Borough Press (HarperCollinsUK), and Henry Holt (US and Canada). She is working on a new novel about asexuality and CCTV.
